Clinically-led · Trauma-informed
When organisations commission psychological support, they should be confident that it is delivered safely, ethically and to a high professional standard.
Clinical governance underpins everything we do. It helps ensure the support we provide is safe, effective, evidence-informed and delivered with appropriate professional oversight.
Clinically led.
Professionally accountable.
Ethically governed.
The work we do often involves supporting people navigating pressure, distress, responsibility and emotionally demanding situations.
That responsibility matters.
Clinical governance provides the framework through which we maintain quality, safeguard those we support and ensure our work continues to meet professional, ethical and regulatory standards. It sits behind every aspect of our work, from individual support and consultation through to organisational programmes and leadership engagement.
Our governance framework includes the following elements, each of which plays a role in ensuring our work remains safe, effective and professionally accountable.
All regulated clinicians maintain registration with the appropriate professional bodies and are required to practise within their professional codes of conduct.
Clinicians receive appropriate supervision and professional support to maintain safe and effective practice.
Robust safeguarding processes help ensure concerns are identified, managed and escalated appropriately.
We are committed to ongoing learning, professional development and maintaining current evidence-informed practice.
Information is managed in line with relevant legislation, professional standards and organisational requirements.
We regularly review our work, reflect on learning and seek opportunities for continual improvement.
Eleos works with clinicians and professionals who are accountable to recognised professional and regulatory bodies.
Depending on role and profession, this may include registration or membership with organisations such as:
Professional registration requirements are monitored and maintained as part of our governance processes.
Safeguarding considerations are embedded throughout our work.
Our team works within clear safeguarding processes and understands the importance of recognising, responding to and appropriately escalating concerns where required.
We recognise that organisations often operate within complex safeguarding contexts, and we are committed to working collaboratively and responsibly when concerns arise.
Trust is central to effective support.
We are committed to protecting confidentiality while also being clear about the professional, ethical and safeguarding responsibilities that guide our work.
Where limits to confidentiality exist, these are communicated openly and transparently.
For us, clinical governance is not simply about policies and procedures.
It is about creating the conditions for safe, effective and trusted support.
It helps ensure that the people, teams and organisations we work alongside can have confidence in the quality, integrity and professionalism of the support they receive.
We are always happy to discuss how clinical governance supports our work and the organisations we work alongside.
